In 1971, Mike and his father founded a Home Repair Business, Dayco Enterprises, in Arlington, Texas. Mike also worked in Commercial Building Maintenance at a local hospital from 1987 until 1999, when he left to become the General Facilities Manager for a large IBM Learning Services Business Partner with classroom and software development facilities in Irving and Long Beach, CA. Mike supervised all aspects of building and facilities services, contributing to a team effort which ended with the Business Partner's sale to a non-IBM entity. In 2001, Mike decided to once again establish a Home Repair Business, Speedy Fix, in response to increasing demand for reasonably priced minor residential and commercial building repairs, completed quickly and professionally.
